About Dr Karl

Karl is a Veterinary Surgeon with 33 years of clinical practice. He was a director in his own Practice working at Cliffe Equine Hospital based in East Sussex. Since joining IVC Evidensia, part of the largest veterinary group in the UK, he is now a Clinical Director and sits on the Equine Board helping to shape the clinical strategy.

Karl is also a qualified Personal Performance Coach and is passionate in the development and growth of young professionals in the healthcare environment, both in the veterinary and human fields. Developing a dynamic, positive and engaged team has been a key driver in his business management.

He is a keen cyclist having completed several challenges, including cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats, as well as tackling several iconic hill climbs such as Mont Ventoux and Alpe D’Huez.

Married to Dominique, they enjoy travelling abroad or spending time more locally walking the South Downs or sharing their love of opera.
