About Jayne

Jayne Torvill OBE, Olympic Gold Medallist ice skater, has been a proud supporter of Demelza since 2004, when the hospice in Sussex she was supporting, James House, merged with Demelza.  Jayne has been a passionate supporter ever since, taking part in “Who wants to be a millionaire?” on behalf of Demelza, inviting children and families to Dancing on Ice and taking them out on the rink, alongside Christopher Dean, opening our hospice in Eltham, as well as our soft play area at the Kent hospice and our shop in Heathfield. In 2020, Jayne took a starring role in Demelza’s first ever virtual quiz.
