About Robin

Robin Cousins MBE, Olympic Figure Skating Gold Medallist, has supported Demelza for over 14 years. Robin opened our hospice in Eltham in 2009, as well as attending the hospice’s 1^st anniversary the following year. A frequent visitor at our open days, Robin has also brought his therapy dog, Monty, in on several occasions to meet children, appeared on the TV show “All Star Family Fortunes” on behalf of Demelza and is an avid user of social media to promote our work and help raise our profile.  Robin took a starring role in Demelza’s family quiz earlier in the year, as well as taking part in our #Shorts4ShortLives campaign in 2020 and 2021.
