Bucks Fizz Legend Cheryl Baker hosts concert in aid of Demelza

The packed crowd were treated to a medley of Christmas tunes from Cheryl and her talented family, a Q&A session with Olympian, Dancing on Ice host and fellow Vice President Jayne Torvill, and some Bucks Fizz classics - all in aid of Demelza's festive wishes campaign!

A showing of Andrea Bocelli's 'Fall on Me', recorded by the Demelza choir, moved many of the audience to tears, and members Demelza Nurse Tanya, Demelza mum Sam and Demelza Creative Therapies Lead Victoria were all interviewed about how they brought together the families, volunteers, and staff to record this song.

Celebrities Anthony Costa & Duncan James from boyband Blue, Bradley Walsh, pantomime stalwart Christopher Biggins, comedian Matt Lucas and 80s pop stars Kim Wilde and Midge Ure sent in messages of support before the evening finished with a traditional Christmas singalong.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards our Festive Wishes campaign to help families like Harry's this Christmas.

In addition, Demelza were delighted to be chosen as the charity partner for Castlemas 2022, with each snowfall being dedicated to Demelza in honour of the work we do.
