Volunteer with Demelza’s retail team
We are excited to share that we will bringing the first charity shop to Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Gillingham this autumn – and we need your help.
All of our charity shops are staffed by teams of dedicated and friendly volunteers, who selflessly give their time and energy to create welcoming spaces that people want to spend time in.
Here at Demelza, we support our volunteers along every step of their journey and ensure that they reap all the rewards that come from being a #TeamDemelza retail volunteer.
Our volunteers gain a whole range of new skills by volunteering with us, including communication and retail skills that help them grow on both a personal and professional level. With flexible roles available, including weekends and evenings, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to enhance your CV and stand out from the crowd!
Our charity shops provide an important income source. For every pre-loved item we sell, Demelza children and their families benefit.
Already have excellent retail skills under your belt? Come on board and share your passion with other like-minded people.
Our Voluntary Service Department will be holding informal virtual drop-in sessions on Zoom, where they’ll be on hand to answer any questions you may have about volunteering with us.
